In 2008, ONTON had the honor to participate in the compilation of the Chinese national standard TB/T3209-2008 Hollow Anchor Bar Specifications, which was proposed and managed by Chinese Ministry of Railways Economic Planning Research Institute.
The units involved in the drafting are: Chinese Ministry of Railways Economic Planning Research Institute, China Railway No 2 Bureau, China Railway No 4 and Design Institute, Standard Metrology Institute of the Ministry of Railways, Onton and two other engineering material factories.
This standard mainly describes in detail the specifications, models, applications, performance parameters, raw materials, installation methods, and tests of ordinary hollow anchor bars with accessories and combined hollow anchor bars with accessories.
ONTON’s hollow self-drilling anchor bars have since been used extensively in railway and road tunnels.
